Our take
The post-recall redesign resolves the one real knock on this set — if adjustable dumbbells have been on your list, this is the moment.
Pros
- +Replaces 15 pairs of dumbbells (5 to 52.5 lb) in the floor space of one, with a quick dial-turn between sets
- +2.5 lb increments up to 25 lb make gradual progressive overload much easier than fixed-jump sets
- +The redesigned Results Series adds metal locking tabs that fix the plate-dislodging flaw behind the 2025 recall
Cons
- −The original version was recalled in June 2025 after plate-dislodging injuries — make sure you buy the new Results Series listing, and expect resale-market confusion
- −Longer and bulkier than fixed dumbbells with slight plate rattle, so moves like renegade rows and fast snatches feel awkward
Best for: Home lifters short on space who want a full dumbbell rack's weight range without buying and storing 15 separate pairs.
Alternatives to consider: PowerBlock Elite EXP Adjustable Dumbbells, NordicTrack Select-A-Weight 55 lb Dumbbells
