Our take
An easy yes for most drivers — only skip it if you're all-in on MagSafe.
Pros
- +One-touch trigger locks the arms around your phone one-handed, so mounting takes about a second
- +Telescopic arm and strong suction base hold big phones steady on dash or windshield, even in thick cases like OtterBox
- +No magnets or adapters needed — works with literally any smartphone, plus a handy magnetic cable tidy
Cons
- −Suction pad can loosen on hot dashboards in summer and needs re-seating now and then
- −Bulkier than vent or MagSafe mounts — it visibly occupies dash space
Best for: Drivers who want a proven, one-handed phone mount that grips any phone and case without magnets or adapters.
Alternatives to consider: Belkin Car Vent Mount PRO with MagSafe, iOttie Velox MagSafe Vent Mount
