Our take
A reliable buy — only USB-C purists should look elsewhere.
Pros
- +500 lumens from a pocket-size body that clips to a hat brim or jeans pocket
- +Rechargeable battery saves money over disposable AAA lights within months of regular use
- +Streamlight's duty-gear durability at a consumer price
Cons
- −Still charges over dated Micro-USB rather than USB-C
- −Only IPX4 splash resistance, so it is not a light you can dunk
Best for: Tradespeople, dog walkers, and glovebox-and-toolbox stockers who want a bright, rechargeable light that actually survives being dropped.
Alternatives to consider: Fenix E28R V2, Olight Warrior Mini 3
