Our take
Buy it whenever you need it — a one-time purchase that lasts a decade.
Pros
- +Machined from a single piece of aluminum — completely rigid with no wobble, even when typing on the laptop
- +Raises the screen roughly six inches to eye level, a genuine fix for hunched-over posture at a desk
- +The aluminum panel doubles as a heat sink and the sandblasted finish matches MacBooks perfectly
Cons
- −Height and angle are fixed — if the geometry doesn't suit your desk and chair, there's no adjusting it
- −It's heavy and bulky, strictly a stay-at-your-desk accessory, not something you toss in a bag
Best for: Laptop users at a fixed desk who pair their machine with an external keyboard and mouse and want a permanent, elegant riser.
Alternatives to consider: Twelve South Curve, Nulaxy C1 Laptop Stand
