Our take

Fair for what you get — buy it when you need it rather than waiting.

Pros

+Vortex circulation moves air up to 70 feet, evening out room temperature instead of just blowing a breeze at you
+Smooth, consistent white-noise hum that many owners specifically buy it for at bedtime
+Simple 3-speed dial and a 5-year warranty — nothing gimmicky to break

Cons

−No oscillation, remote, timer, or smart features at a price where competitors offer them
−High speed is noticeably audible (up to ~56 dB), so light sleepers may stick to low

Best for: Anyone who wants to even out temperatures in a bedroom or office — especially to spread AC around during a heat wave.

Alternatives to consider: Vornado 660 Large Air Circulator, Honeywell HT-908 TurboForce Air Circulator
